Butterfly Survival Lesson Plan
This lesson explores the intricate balance of factors needed to ensure the continuation of a butterfly's life cycle. Pupils will begin to look at ways that human activity can make a difference to the survival of a species and be encouraged to create their own action plan.

Life Cycles Interactive
There are two labelling activities and one sorting task to support work towards the end of the unit. There three sections are as follows:
1) Labelling a life cycle diagram of a flowering plant.
2) Sorting plants by method of seed dispersal.
3) Labelling the reproductive organs of a flower.

The Life Cycle Of A Dandelion Video
A look at the life cycle of a dandelion including wind-aided seed dispersal. Once fertilisation has taken place the plant will produce seeds. Plants such as dandelions often use wind to transport seeds. Each dandelion seed comes with its own individual parachute.

The Living Animal Interactive
There are seven life processes that tell us that animals are alive, movement, reproduction, sensitivity, nutrition, excretion, respiration and growth. Mrs Nerg will help us remember them.
